First: An Interfed
An interfed is a collection of efeds that exist in the same virtual world. In the real world, there is the WWE, ECW, TNA, ROH and the closed WWE. In our world, there are places like EWC, VWF, GCW, etc...
History
The Experts was originally created in 1999 by Snake and Bat-Mero/Lodi as one of the first interfeds and ewrestling communities, dating back to before places like Primetime Central. Back then, things were much more simply. It was hosted on angelfire and had just a single message board titled 'The Bitchin Board'. There was weekly awards, though in reality, they were only given out monthly at best. There were also the inter-federation shows, which drew in all of the big names of the time.
One such event was The Extreme Tournament, which I ran in 2000. Following the tournament is when I began building my standing at The Experts, eventually becoming co-owner of their third generation, eFed Ratings Domain, with Snake. The Experts and its spawned sites shut down for good in 2002, or so it would seem. Since then, Fedwars has since closed, Primetime Central dominated for about five years, before closing, and several other small-scale interfeds popped up.
The Experts made its return in the summer of 2007, staring out with just four federations. WAW, ECFW, TEWF and Rebel-Pro.
Today, The Experts has 12 member federations, spanning over thirty years of activity. The community has grown strong, with great members from all across the ewrestling communities. We are the first to pull off a large-scale accurate rankings system, cataloging over 500 wrestlers to form a top 20 that is updated almost instantly after a show. We have four inter-federation shows per year, and we're brave enough to let our members post news on our front page.
