The King Of Deviance

James Sync vs. G-Rich
.:The King of Deviance:.

The camera, freshly resurrected from the dark abyss of off-air, is held by a cameraman who is ascending a flight of stairs with seemingly no end. The stairs climb further into the building as a spiral staircase. The walls, the ceiling, the stairs, they are all made stone, nothing fancy about it. There are no man made sources of light through the staircase, no electricity or candles, nothing but windows every few flights. To even make the setting feel older the windows aren't even glass, they are only openings in the wall where bricks were removed. Outside of the building it is dark and depressing, it has seemingly been raining here for several days. The property is surrounded by greenery: trees of all sizes and colors, gardens spaced out throughout the area with flowers and plants of many different species. The general location of the building is seemingly in a valley like area seeing as the ground begins to rise as you get further away from the building. From the looks of it, at ground level you wouldn't be able to see past the think forest, you feel captured while on the property. As the cameraman makes his way around the pole point of the stairs and gets further up you can see a fountain in what seems to be the front of the building. The fountain shoots water about ten feet into the air as four lights shine on it from several different directions. You begin to put the pieces together: stone building with an extremely long staircase, dense forestation, valley like area, extravagant fountain, the camera crew has to be positioned in a castle. Images of castle and the like flood your head: medieval times, the dark ages, war, the plaque, must must prominently of all, kings. Just as you finish thinking you hear the crash of thunder. The cameraman quickly stops and looks out a window; a rather large storm is approaching, the main storm is probably five kilometers away, but it has already began to rain. The cameraman brushes it off and continues up the stairs. Not much later he comes to the top where there is an old oak door painted black. The handle of the door is no more than a lever, no modern day knobs here. The cameraman goes to open the door, but it just slowly swings open, he figures that it was most likely the wind. As the camera enters the room, a cold fear comes over you, even though you're not even there. The room seems to be nothing more than a medieval bedroom. A rather large bed in one corner with a chest at the foot of it, a dresser on the wall opposite the bed and, on the far wall from the cameraman, there's another door. The cameraman advances towards the door and goes to open it, but it won't budge, it's locked. The cameraman turns to leave the room, but the voiceman trips on a wrung in the floor which makes a clunking sound come from the general area of the locker door. The cameraman helps his fellow crew member up and moves back to the door, opening it slowly. The door creeks open eerily sending shivers down your spine. The room is pitch black, not a single source of light is visible. As the cameraman takes one step into the room the rooms is instantly lit up in a giant flash which seems to blind you briefly because your eyes had become accustomed to the dark. As your eyes come back you see that a chandelier, a pure gold one at that, seems to have been turned on. The floor and walls are covered with gold trinkets and exotic artifacts, there's almost no room to walk. In the center of the room is a golden throne, at the base of it you can see a part that allows it to swivel. On the ground next to the throne is a skeleton. It seems to have been dead for many years and you assume that it must be the ruler of this castle, but why is he on the ground and not in his throne? All of a sudden you see movement come from the throne, your heart skips a beat as you are caught off guard. Suddenly the lights go out and just as suddenly come back on. The throne is now turned around and a man is sitting in it with his head down. He's garbed in Zoo York reissue stylus dark blue jeans, S-MX 4 black motorcycle boots. a black t-shirt, a fur cloak dyed red, a black yin and yang bandanna, and to top it all off, a golden crown with sapphire gems inscribed in it. The bandanna is holding back his long, dirty brown hair from falling in his face. The front of his black t-shirt reads "Kings" in big bold white letters. Also in the mans left hand is a cane made from gold. The majority of the cane is inscribed with gems and intricate designs. The top of it is the head of a snake also made from gold with ruby's in place of its eyes. Even before the man picks his head up you automatically know that it is "The Rock Star" James Sync. When he picks his head up you can see that his usually calm, cool blue eyes are a resentful, dangerous blue. More shivers flow through your spine as it feels like all his worries, all his stress travels from him into you. Once the tension subsides, he begins to speak in his calm, cool voice, but rather faster than usual.

Casa Loma, construction of this glorious castle began in 1911 under the watchful eye of architect E.J. Lennox. The project would take three years and $3.5-million to become finished. All the hard work put into this place was well worth it, it's a palace built for a king where in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Hmm... what is a king? What really makes a king a king? Is the the cloak or the cane? No. Is it the pure gold, jewel inscribed crown? No. Or is it the ability to lead people and at the same time be loved by them? It's not even that. Anyone can dress like a king, anyone can be loved, anyone can lead, but it takes someone special to be king. They have to be someone that can truthfully say that he is above his people, that he is better then them, I mean if he wasn't then he wouldn't really be king. They have to be smart, wise, all seeing. They have to think of not just what's right for the kingdom, but himself because no matter what we say, we will always put ourselves before anyone else, that is just how humans behave. Which leads me to the final quality to be king, you have to be cold. When you're cold, you think that you're the best, which makes you smart when it comes to leading because you've learned what it takes for you to live which you can expand and learn what your kingdom needs. Also you have to be cold to hide thing from your people, you have to lie to them. You see if something bad is happening, you don't want your people to know because they'll riot, they'll become rash, they'll be distraught. You need to hide things from them so you can focus on them without having to worry about what your people are doing at the same time. That's what truly makes a king a king, well a good, kind kings anyways, but most, if not all, kings are deeper then that. When you're king, it corrupts you, the power, the glory, the fortune... the pride; you slowly rot from the inside out.

Sync brings the cane up. Holding the shaft of it in his left hand and the head in his right, he rubber his thumbs on the ruby eyes of the snake. He gazed at it in awe and continued to speak.

King is just a formal word for leader. Whether you're leader of a protest or leader of a game, you are, in some form, a king. Every group needs a king no matter how much it is denied, a king is needed to make the final say and keep order. There are different kinds of kings though: democratic, republican, communist, dictator. But one that is popular amongst all groups is the liberal. Everyone wants change to some degree, whether it is change in power or laws or principle. One man that has lead a revolution through the FWA is a liberal by nature. This man wants everything to fall into place for what seems to be his followers, the Unholy Uprising. He wants to reign above everyone as their leader, as king. You see the FWA was a pretty peaceful place with very few rats in the walls, but to G-Rich it was too peaceful. He's a man that likes chaos and anarchy, he think evil should triumph over good, he doesn't believe in a social order other than peasants, followers, and king, a medieval social order. G-Rich, he is a king, he's got a massive ego, he's smart, and he's cold. But as I said, he doesn't play nice, he's not a kind king, he's deeper than that. You see there are seven characteristics that describe the actions of man. People, like those involved in the church, they say that all these can be avoided, but they can't. They call them the Seven Deadly Sins, they say that these are the worst sins we can commit, but in my eyes these are nothing more than God's guidelines from creating our souls. Within all our souls there is more than just our conscience, there is what truly what makes us human our own unique personalities with the ability to commit these "sins" but nothing to tell us not to do them until thousands of years later, why wouldn't God tell us what we shouldn't do that the beginning? I'll let you be the judge of that. Now to be king is one thing, but to say that someone is deeper then the average king they have to have violated these "sins."

Sync stands up and walks over to a corner of the room that has chest, his cloak wavering with every step he takes. He sets his cane next to the chest, bends over, and slowly opens it. Inside there are literally chunks of gold filling the chest. There must be billions of dollars worth of gold in the chest. Sync reaches in and pulls out several chunks. He tosses them between his hands with a blank look on his face as if he wasn't interested. When he talks this time it is in the same tone, but more casually.

Gold, no matter what form it's in, captivates us and makes us want more. Some people know when to stop, they know when to say no, that is the mark of a good king. But the other type of king, the deeper king doesn't know the meaning of the word no, it is as if he has forgotten the word altogether. G-Rich is no different, he's a nine time champion: LOW Intercontinental champion, CCW Revolutionary Champion, AW Television and Hardcore Champion, but most of all FWA Tag Team and World Champion. He has been in this business for about two or three years altogether so that's a lot of championships. Now I can't talk about the number of championships one should have. I've only been a professional wrestler for ten months and am a six time champ, only three behind G-Rich. But the difference between him and I is that I am not completely obsessed with being champion. He stripped Daniel Sinclair of the FWA Championship, he fired Matt Boudreau for touching him, and he snuck into the April 5, 2007 Over the Top Rope Battle Royal on Fight Night to win the vacant FWA title even after Sinclair banned him from all FWA events. He is a man that will stop at nothing when it comes to getting gold close to him, if he can't win it and hold it himself, he'll bring it close to him to win it at a later date. Yeah you heard me, I'm calling G-Rich a con-artist. While he made the UU to change the FWA, he also did it to bring the gold closer towards him. Ryan Hall versus Tony Juvenille at FWA Betrayal, Juvy had the match in the bag, but then a hooded attacker came out and attacked him allowing Hall to win. G-Rich was that attacker, he couldn't even show his face as he attacked Tony, he waited until the attack was over. This man will do anything to attract gold because with Hall close to him, he can turn the other members of the UU on him and take the FWA title. Hell it could be at Mile High, every member of the Unholy Uprising participates in the match, not trying to win, but to wear down Hall for G-Rich. G-Rich truly is king when it comes to greed, all he wants is gold, he doesn't want what's best for his stablemates or the company, he just wants to shine.

Sync then abruptly drops the chunks of gold on the ground and stands back up. He grabs his cane and stands next to the chest. He then proceeds to grab the side of the chest and dump it's contents out. The chunks of gold pour out onto the floor. Sync grabs one far from the chest and one that didn't slide out of it. He holds both up to the camera, one in his left hand and one in his right with his cane between his right arm and side.

The one in my right hand was on the top of the chest while the one in my left hand was near the bottom. Your first few tastes of gold gets you eager for more, but you also want to work on protecting and keeping your gold, but eventually you'll be used to getting so much gold that you just want more, you don't care what happens to it after you get it. You just want to over indulge yourself like someone who loves to eat or a pill popper, you soon become a glutton. Gluttony, that's another one of the Seven Deadly Sins, or Characteristics of a Deep King. When you try something or obtain something that you immediately love, you just want more and more until you can't possibly have anymore, but eventually that's just it, you can't have anymore. When it comes to gold it eventually gets too heavy to the point where you kill yourself from trying to carry all of it. The same thing goes for championships, you just want to be a simultaneous, but you don't think about how much work it will be defending both. Eventually you are going to be so weak that the lowest of the low can take you out without a problem, you just fade away from over indulging yourself. Those that have their wits about them and know the meaning of no can control their urges, they are satisfied with one title and will do anything to protect it. When I lost the X Championship to Lt. Wyoming I stopped at nothing to get it back until management forced me to move on. When I lost the FWA Tag Team Championships to Tom and Jack I took them right back the next chance I got. Now that I lost them again I will stop at nothing to get it back around my waste, but I'm being smart about it. I'm not going to choose a partner at random and trust them on their word that they'll work with me as a team, I'm going to choose someone that knows what it means to be a champion, not just how to work with others, but how to keep a level head and go for what's important, someone who won't over indulge. G-Rich is one half of the Tag Team Champions with Matt Boudreau, but even if he doesn't show it, he'll go right after the FWA Championship the first chance he gets. I'm warning Hall right now to watch his back, not because I'm coming for him, but because his own friends will be coming for him soon. Hall, if you are watching this I have a saying I think you should keep close to your heart, "keep your friends close, and your enemies closer."

G-Rich may say he's friends with Hall, that they are old chums, but deep down we can all see that he is truly jealous, jealous that Ryan is the FWA Champion. This is the story of G-Rich's life. Back when he was the General Manager, he didn't strip Daniel Sinclair of the FWA title because it was the right thing to do, but because he was jealous. Jealousy, another one of the characteristics of a deep king, makes us all do stupid things that we later pay for, hell G-Rich got kicked around quite a lot once the tables were turned and Sinclair became GM. G-Rich is a prideful man, he's not jealous because he's below Hall, but because he thinks he's better than Hall and that he should be the champ. Like a king ruling an empire, G-Rich is jealous of another kingdom and he wishes to rule that one as well, he's jealous that they, or Hall in this case, has something he doesn't. Jealousy will change you, you'll slowly change to fit the mold of the current champion in order to take his place. Eventually G-Rich is going to lose who he really is because he's changed himself to fit so many different molds.

We all know the saying that money buys happiness, well G-Rich is the richest man in wrestling is he not? Men of the world believe in one thing above all else, that with money comes women and I've heard many of G-Rich's late night outings and he makes this statement true. Now I'm telling you this part from some girls I know and they tell me that they sure as hell didn't sleep with the man for his size, they actually swear the man is Asian. Anyways, G-Rich doesn't want love, he lusts, he lusts after pretty much every woman he sees because he has the money. With successful Greed, comes successful Lust.

Sync tosses the chunks of gold over his shoulders and walks back to the throne. He sits in it with the cane on his lap. He slouches back like he's bored or tired.

G-Rich is a tremendous athlete that is without a doubt, but he is very Sloth. He's been given abilities that others dream of, but he fails to use them to their full extent. Yes he's been FWA Champion twice, but after losing the submission match to Jillian De Silva, he's gone downhill. Yes Boudreau and him beat Arsen and I, but once I challenged him, he his behind his followers. Thew, Swift, Stu, Boudreau all of them were sent after me to wear me down because he doesn't want to exert too much energy to get what he wants. He hides behind his wall of comrades, as they beat away at his target, he relaxes and waits to nail the finishing blow. Is it because he is careful, smart, or maybe he's just scared? I'd say the latter seeing as I'm not even a champion. He may have nothing to really lose, but he sees me as a threat to his chances of becoming a singles champion again. You see with the FWA champion close to him, he can turn on him at any time and take the gold, but if someone like me or Bullseye take it, then he has to work harder and exert more energy to get it. G-Rich can put forth the effort when he wants to or when he needs to, but usually he just sits back and demonstrates to the world another one of the deadly sins.

Sync straightens himself back up and stares into the camera with a passion, no longer looking sluggish. He speaks in almost the usual tone, but more assertive.

Behind the wall of comrades he can also calculate his next plan to unleash his wrath on his enemies. He thinks he's better than me, better than everyone, but he still feels threatened so he comes up with intricate plans to throw us off his track for a while as he building up energy and strength to unleash his full wrath. Many superstars have felt the wrath of G-Rich and not many of them are what they once were. Look at my former partner Nick Arsen, G-Rich beat him three times in singles competition and he's never been as good as he once was, hell after G-Rich beat Nick before our tag title match, Nick lost all hope and desire, his will to be champion. G-Rich's plans to let loose his wrath are always changing to fit the situation, there's no way to prepare for what he's going to bring. On Sunday though, at Desert Storm when we square off mono e mono, it'll be just that, one on one, no one else. Seeing as I spoke with Matthew Robinson, if anyone comes to the ring to interfere with our match they will have hell to pay following the draft, good or bad guy. Tonight is about who is better, not who has the better defensive wall. He'll unleash his wrath to put me down and I'll unleash mine to show him that I'm not just some over rated rookie. Wrath, it's the stuff that doesn't just destroy men, it destroys countries.

Sync jumps up and slams his cane into the stone brick floor and it gets stuck there. He swings his left leg back and kicks the throne and watches it fly into the wall. The chair doesn't break seeing as it is made of gold, but the wall slightly cracks up a bit and a cloud of dust rises from it. Sync breaths a bit heavy and stands back up straight. He rests his hands on the cane that is stuck in the ground as he stares intently into the camera.

The 7th and final sin, the original and most deadly, what makes a king a king, Pride! That is exactly what this battle is about. Not about teams, or about gold, or about stardom, but about who exactly is better between G-Rich and me. Pride, it's such a simple word, but used too lightly in everyday life. The church says it's the deadliest sin but then they tell you to take pride in your religion, church or schools. They use it in the sense of representing what you believe in and that just saying that something is better then something else is wrong. Well I'm representing what I believe in, I believe in myself. I'm not saying that I'm better than G-Rich, we're close, but I'm not saying he's my inferior. Him on the other hand thinks he's simply the greatest thing on this planet since sliced bread. Pride will be this mans fall, he's been digging his own grave since the first day he said he was the best because eventually he's going to find himself on a losing streak and slowly die from the inside out. G-Rich is a prideful man and never says die, eventually we all die, including our careers and legacies, nothing is truly immortal. All six other sins lead to this one. Jealousy makes you want to increase your pride; the more your greed is fulfilled, the greater your pride rises, the same goes for gluttony; the more sloth you are and he more of your dirty work that gets done, the more your pride rises; as your lustful wishes are granted so are your wishes to be the best; and the more hell you unleash from your wrath, the more your pride sky rockets.

G-Rich I know one word you sure as hell know and that's deviance. For those who need me to explain it means to not follow social and/or cultural norms, to basically be unorthodox. Cultural norms frown upon those who sin, especially the Seven Deadly Sins and G-Rich surely sins to all of them. But that's not just it, he's also deviant when it comes to social norms which is basically the law. He doesn't care who you are, he'll knock you down and hurt you, that's exactly what the Unholy Uprising is about, changing FWA for the better for them and the worse for everyone else. G-Rich is the ultimate deviant one in this company, more so than Faheem Fate and Ryan Hall.

Sync grabs the cane and easily pulls it from the ground. He holds the snake head up to the camera, the ruby eyes glistening in the light.

Why are you evil thought G-Rich, why are you so deviant? The answer is perverseness. G-Rich isn't evil by nature, but because he chooses to be. Perverseness means to do evil and bad because you know you can get away with it. G-Rich is already the leader of FWA's most dominant stable and he's already a champion, he doesn't need to please anyone, not the fans or management, he needs them to fear him. he's already on top of things and he doesn't want to lose it so he continues to shove fear into the hearts of everyone, everyone except one man, me. I don't care how big you are, how tough you are, how evil you are, I will go at you like a mad man, but not because I'm prideful, but for my people, my family, my friends, FWA. This era of evil and darkness is over comes Sunday here in Toronto, Ontario. G-Rich will meet his match and like in any sturdy structure, you just have to pull out the support beam and the structure crumbles. G-Rich, what happened to Hybrid Theory and The Resistance will soon happen to the UU, things will come crashing down around and you'll have to attempt to rebuild it all over again, but this time with a bruised ego because you'd have just been beaten, not by a known adversary, but my the fastest rising star in FWA today. Just because I respect everything you've done for this company, doesn't mean I gotta like ya. The countdown has since started and there is less than twenty-four left. Can you save yourself in that short time G-Rich, or will this truly be your Final Countdown?

As Sync finishes those last words The Final Countdown by Europe plays in the background. Sync throws his cloak off as it clashes against the wall. He then thrusts his cane into another corner of the room. Sync then grasps the crown and holds it in his hands. After several moments he whips it at the wall, the gold crown instantly shatters as the camera zooms in on it. The last three lines echo back, but in Sync's voice in a last message to G-Rich.

It's the final countdown...
the final countdown...
the final countdown...
To when The People's King and The Deep King clash.
